Guest Speakers

Peter Davies is Wales’ first Commissioner for Sustainable Futures, providing independent advice to the Welsh Government. He was appointed to this role in April 2011. Peter Davies was also appointed as independent chair of the Climate Change Commission for Wales in 2010. Peter’s career background is in the field of corporate responsibility working for the Confederation of British Industry, the Department of Trade and Industry and Business in the Community.

Heidi Keyser has been heavily involved in the development of South Africa’s world leading Responsible Tourism strategy and its implementation. She has worked for the national tourism marketing organisation, lectured at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and worked for KPMG before establishing EDGE Tourism Solutions and the International Centre for Responsible Tourism affiliate in Cape Town. Heidi has been at the forefront of the development of Responsible Tourism in South Africa for the last 10 years. Her Oxford University Press book on Tourism Development is in its second edition.
